Here I am, bleary eyed, weary....

Waiting for backup scripts on our VMS database to run and watching CSI reruns from BT I popped in to check my friend Brian's blog about being a dad. His daughter looks gorgeous! She's so alert and strong! I wrote a letter the my grandpa last week. Im worried a bit-my sister told me he's giving out the inheritences or whatever to the sons and daughters now. I asked if everything was okay, and as far as she knows it is. I can't talk to Mom, though because her phone doesnt have minutes on it. I put some on over the weekend but she must have it shut off because I get the Alltel messaging service.

The kids are driving my nuts-Trevelian gets really upset when he doesnt get his way and Briallen has discovered tormenting Rowen. The girls would not go to sleep last night and were still up when I left for work at 1230. Its sort of frustrating-Kol and I never get any time together,but she makes a day a week to see her friends Sarah, Betsie, etc. I haven't brought it up yet, but its starting to make me a little mad. Well, back to work....then sleep today. God I should read the book for my independant study.....

Halloween is here again....

So with the coming of Halloween I find that I am: another year married (7), another year older in a week and some change (29), another couple of pounds heavier ( but my martial arts should help with that), and home with the flu. How nice. So far we have a knight, and a butterfly-I don't know WHAT my youngest will be, but she is a year old so as long as the weather holds im not too worried about it.

Im taking an independent study class on the philosophy of technology this term, along with a race and ethnicity class( made up of all white people, imagine that) and a martial arts class. Currently 3.82 for the Cumulative...not too shabby. I spent part of today hemming my gi. Now if I could just remember how to sit seiza! If I could kill this fever Id feel motivated and work out, maybe....


Libby resigned/was indicted today. Isnt that interesting that one usually is folloed by the other in Politics? I wish I could have a job where I could just leave when it got sucky and not have any consequences.

Damn the man

SO I deleted my other blog....way to go. My brother Nick had come across it on the internet somewhere and I went into it to update some things and deleted it instead. Thats what I get for trying to be coherant after being up for 30 hours.

Husker football is taking off with preseason practices right now. Taylor, the juco QB from Alaska is doing well, and Corey Ross should have a great season as well with the ariel support.The band sounds in good form as well, since I can hear them, but not see the field from where I work.

We're trying to get a contract in AZ-we'll see how that goes. Theyve been emailing a bunch of questions back and forth-some are pretty insightful, others, well, common sense usually takes a backseat to management country-I really hope I dont become like that when my degree is done....
